Finally opened all the preserves and tasted them. They did not dissapoint. The flavors were deep and luxurious. Serving them to offer to friends at a brunch this weekend. Loved all 3 equally, Apricot, blueberry plumb, and strawberry/blood orange marmalade.
Who would think of combining plums and blueberries? Frog Hollow Farm!! It’s a unique taste treat that has just the right amount of sweetness and the texture is delightful on the tongue!
However, it took me a long time to discern the actual flavor of the conserve because the level of sugar was so high. I would prefer that all of the preserves and marmalades I purchased were less sweet. Especially since the combination of the blueberry and plum really was delightful.
I've order dozen and shared one with my ups driver.
