We believe in growing the healthiest, tastiest fruit, and in doing it in a way that stewards our land and natural resources. As a certified organic farm, we are held to high standards for growing, producing, and handling food. Feeding your family organic food reduces your risk of exposure to pesticides, antibiotics, and hormones, and promotes the development of long-lasting, good eating habits. Frog Hollow Farm is proud to be certified by:
CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers)
This is the nonprofit organization that certifies organic farms in California. Their green “Certified Organic” label on signs and packaging identifies food that meets the federal standards set by the USDA National Organic Program. Learn more at the CCOF Website.
Real Organic Project
This is a farmer-led movement to distinguish food that has been produced according to the “real” intended principles of organic farming, such as food that is grown outdoors in real soil. It is a reaction to factory farming practices that adhere to the letter but not the spirit of organic agriculture. Learn more at the Real Organic Project Website or on our blog post.
Global G.A.P. (Good Agricultural Practices) is an internationally accepted set of farm standards and is recognized in more than 100 countries and by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Learn more at the Global G.A.P. website.
