Serve warm, straight out of the oven along with breakfast or as dessert. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for something extra special.

Oh my goodness! I've tried, several times over, all of the bakery items. TOO MANY! But the good part is that I do believe I've found my favorite -- these Holiday Crostada Tartlets. Perfect for sharing, if you use moderation as your guide -- which I don't always do!!!

We got these as gifts from our neighbors and baked one up this morning to share. We are foodies, some may even whisper we are outright food snobs. We were both super impressed with this tart. Great flaky tasty dough base with delicious fruits inside and even detected orange zest that elevated the whole tart all the more. Just heavenly eats! NO COMPARISON TO ANY STORE BOUGHT PASTRIES! Way, way, way superior over stores and even superior to most bakeries. Winners.

Fruity fabulousness!

Follow directions and it is better than any store bought or even bakery bought pastry! Lovely golden brown, sugary and crispy exterior filled with a bubbling interior of the just perfect combo of sweet and slightly tart fruit, Full on Yummy-ness!
