This product is perishable and ships frozen.

Preheat over to 425 degrees. Put a sheet pan in the oven, while it is heating up. Let frozen pie sit for 30 minutes before baking.
Put pie on preheated sheet pan in the oven. This will help cook the bottom crust.

Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes. Check the edges, if it is getting dark, collar the pie with aluminum foil, or lay a piece of foil over the entire pie loosely.
Turn the oven down to 375 degrees and bake for another 30 minutes. Check with a sharp knife into a steam hole, if there is no resistance, and pie is golden brown, remove from oven, set on a flat surface and put your ear to the pie. It should purr and pop. If not, continue to bake checking at 10 minute intervals until it’s ready.

It’s tempting to cut into the pie right away but you must wait for at least 3 hours and 4 is better. Otherwise, the pie juices will ooze out, and make the bottom crust soggy.
