Red Russian Kale Salad with Late Season Flavor Treat Pluots

Ingredients:

  • 1 bunch of kale, stem removed and hand massaged (this will make the kale leaves tender)
  • Sunflower seeds to taste
  • Manchego cheese to taste
  • 3 Flavor Treat pluots, cut around the pit to remove the flesh, and slice thinly
  • 1 small shallot, minced finely and macerated with a pinch of salt and a squeeze of lemon juice
  • Meyer lemon olive oil to taste
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 6 dried Majestic Pearl nectarines, sliced thin

Method:

  1. Place the ingredients to your liking.
  2. Dress and season to taste.
  3. Serve.
