Our Sweet Risotto Tartlets are a delightful blend of flavors and textures that you will be hard pressed to find anywhere else! Surrounded by a light and flaky pastry, the risotto lends a creaminess that perfectly complements bright tastes of orange, currants, and vanilla. Each satisfying tartlet makes a crowd-pleasing breakfast or dessert that is not overly sweet.

This product is perishable and ships chilled. Keep frozen until baking. Pre-heat your oven to 400°. For convection ovens, lower the given temperature to 375°. If your pastries brown too quickly, cover them with a loose sheet of foil. We include parchment sheets with each shipment and recommend that you use them to line your baking tray. For a golden brown crust, brush the dough with cream, milk, or an egg-wash. Sweet pastries may be sprinkled with sugar if desired. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

BEST EVER! Hard to share!

There is a wonderful feeling inside when eating a sweet risotto tartlet. That's because there is something sensationally wonderful inside your mouth when eating them. Flakey crust, warm "rice pudding" and with just the right amount of sweetness that you can't help but make that mmmm sound. Life never seemed so good. I think I'll go have another.

Be careful with the baking

What an absolute delight, an indulgent one at that. But with time, and a lot more baking and eating, I see how precise one has to be in terms of baking and temperature and timing. There's a "sweet spot" for the right consistency of the delicious center's "custard" and getting the dough cooked just right.
I think I will go back to the Sweet Risotto Buttons because the portion is plenty, and easier to cook to perfection than the larger Tartlets. Either way, the recipe is delicious and the dough wonderful. And I could keep eating the Tartlets! I need the portion control, thank you very much!

OMG! Sweet Risotto Tartlets

Sweet Risotto Tartlets-well my best advice is just don't buy a 6 pk! lol My mom eats very little BUT she sure eats your products no problem! For that, I am thankful. She's in her 90's with dementia. Great find!
