This is Frog Hollow's take on the classic cherry tart. Enjoy a generous helping of our rich organic cherries held in a flaky, handmade ruff-puff pastry shell. Serve warm straight out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of creme fraiche. Serves 8-10 people. May contain pits.
Pastry dough: organic flour, organic butter, water, organic sugar, salt
Filling: organic cherries, organic sugar, lemon juice, tapioca flour, almond extract
Manufactured in a facility that processes tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, milk, and eggs.
Keep frozen until baking. Pre-heat your oven. For convection ovens, lower the given temperature by 25°. If your pastries brown too quickly, cover them with a loose sheet of foil. We include parchment sheets with each shipment and recommend that you use them to line your baking tray. For a golden brown crust, brush the dough with cream, milk, or an egg-wash. Sweet pastries may be sprinkled with sugar if desired. At 400°, bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

I sent it as a gift during Covid and it was not received anywhere near on time. Got a little attitude at the start but They eventually made it right. With all that my friend who grew up on a farm, LOVED EVERYTHING ! Said it was FANTASTIC !!
A light, flaky crust, and the treasure of sweet tender cherries inside. Each cherry is a world unto itself, light to dark red, with its rich flavor waiting to be savored slowly. Very hard to share this galette with more than 2-3 people, I crave it far too much.
Your cherry galette is onof the best deserts I have ever had. The only thing that comes close is the cherry turnovers, because then I get more of your tender pastry. If you are serving company expect raves. It’s stunning and delicious. Keep one in the freezer for last minute company, or a treat for you. I keep 2 plus turnovers.
