Late Summer Crudites

Late Summer Crudites

This recipe is all about using what is good, abundant, and in season. A simple, light and surprisingly refreshing dish can be enjoyed as a starter or for a healthy snack.

Feel free to make substitutions with the crudites (use seasonality as a guide)
We are fans of the traditional and the Gordo Rancho version on the Tajin.
Be sure to serve with slices of limes for an additional flavor boost.
Our version: Serves 1

Ingredients

1 Persian cucumber, cut into quarters vertically
1 Hosui Asian pear, cut into 8 pieces
1 bunch of mixed radishes (if the tops are in good shape, keep them on and wash really well)
Slice limes
2 tbs. of Tajin seasoning

Method

Wash, dry really well, and chill the crudites in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
On a chilled plate place the crudites to your liking and serve with limes and Tajin.
