Organic Cara Cara Navel Oranges

Regular price $41.99
Unit price

Right from the first bite, our Cara Cara oranges combine balanced sweetness with subtle notes of cherry, rose and blackberry.Believed to be a cross between the Washington Navel and the Brazilian Bahia navel, these seedless navel oranges easily separate from the rind. Sometimes called a pink orange due to their beautiful blushed flesh, Cara Cara navels are grouped in with blood and Valencia varieties. Visually, each fruit features an indentation resembling a navel, while Cara Cara oranges specifically have a thicker, prominently textured rind with more pith underneath.

This seedless orange was originally cultivated as a hybrid and adds a juicy, berry-like taste to recipes or when eaten as a snack. Each helps you get vitamins A and C, plus dietary fiber, folate and potassium. Review our citrus recipes to see how you can prepare Cara Cara oranges at home!

We partner with other local organic producers to bring you fresh, rejuvenating citrus.

Orange you glad!

I’m so glad I ordered these! They are the sweetest!

Our 11 month old grandson Henry arrived the day after the Cara Cara Navel Oranges, both from California. One by one, Henry and I rolled the entire box of oranges around the living room floor. So much fun! He enjoyed eating them too, as we all did.

First of the season

It’s hit or miss the first citrus of the season it’s best to wait a few weeks till weather is colder and citrus sweetens and acidity lowers. Regardless customer service is superior here and always treats customers the Best I have ever experienced to find solutions!! Mother Nature isn’t always as accommodating but certainly worth the wait when the citrus is ready and at its best!!!

very tasty oranges. very small!

Cara Cara oranges

Got these and they are good but not very big and hard to peel. Just not as good as I thought they would be. I probably won’t order these again but everything else I have ordered from Frog Hollow has been exceptionally good.
