The Apache apricot is intoxicatingly aromatic with sweet flesh and delicate flavor. Ripening into perfect golden globes by May, they're one of the first fruits off the tree in late spring.

Developed by the Agricultural Research Service in California, this apricot has pinkish-orange skin with orange flesh that is finely textured. The Apache develops a layered flavor profile with distinct sugar notes and light aromatic qualities.

As a freestone apricot, the Apaches are great for eating out of hand. Apaches also store well, making them ideal for snacking and baking.

Did not disappoint

I bought these apricots for all of us to enjoy. I had one. Delicious! But that was it. My family devoured the rest.

Delicious

Finding any apricots is difficult, and finding sweet juicy ones almost impossible. I have bought two kinds from Frog Hollow (Goshen and these) and both are delicious. I really didn't see much difference between them however. Both are small, good ripeness, great texture and flavor.
Only objection is that they ARE so small.
But definitely delicious.
