Very delicate and easy to peel, organic Gold Nugget mandarins have an intensely sweet and juicy flesh with a bit of citrus tang. These seedless fruits are so named for their golden color and pebbly skin. Gold Nugget mandarins look more like oranges and are as excellent for eating out of hand as they are for juicing or for making jam.

    Great taste but thick skin

    I would definitely purchase these again next year, but several other varieties beat them out, because they have a really thick skin. The taste is great, though, and as all of Frog Hollow Farm produce, they are fresh and juicy.

    Love this diminutive citrus fruit. It’s just as tasty as it’s larger relatives but it’s very quickly peeled making it quicker to eat. You can eat a few or just one and either way you get that bright sweet citrus flavor and can happily toss them in your bag for eating on the go!
