Inspired while touring Italy, Liam Callahan, Bellwether's farmer, and cheesemaker worked to create a distinctive cow's cheese that was mild yet full of "fresh milk flavor". An excellent table cheese, the Carmody is a perfect accompaniment for fruit, offering a great taste and texture without overpowering the sweetness of our organic fall fruit varieties.

We're also featuring the award-winning Original Blue from Point Reyes Farmstead. It is sweet and creamy with a medium to a strong punch of Blue flavor.

What a delicious treat!

Very nice cheese; disappointing fruit

After giving a gift of Frog Hollow pears that by all reports were wonderful, I was disappointed in the fruit in this holiday collection. The clementines were small, hard to peel and not particularly tasty. The apples were pink ladies, and pretty good, though not one of the best apples to pair with cheeses, IMO. The persimmons looked lovely but never got very soft and had just an okay flavor. The cheeses on the other other hand were delectable and would go well, in fact, with fruit. I just wish the fruit had been tastier.
