Chef Becky elevates the classic Shaker Pie by using our own fresh, organic Meyer Lemons. We grind up our Meyer Lemons (peels and all) and leave the mixture in sugar overnight. We add eggs to create a delicious custard with an outstanding lemon taste. We pour that into our signature pie shell, made flaky and flavorful with 100% pasture-raised leaf lard and organic butter. This pie is easy to prepare for any gathering, and you and your loved ones will be delighted by real Meyer Lemon bits in each bite of this delicious citrus pie.

Remove the pie from the packaging and place it in the refrigerator on a flat surface. Remove and let sit for 2 hours before serving.

Pie Dough: Organic flour, organic butter, leaf lard (pork), water, organic sugar, salt. Filling: Organic Meyer lemons, organic sugar, organic flour, organic butter, salt. Manufactured on equipment that processes milk, eggs, soy, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, and sesame seeds. ***Known allergen ingredients.

More sweet than I would have liked and more than a bit different from the original version made at Kentucky’s Pleasant Hill Shaker Village, which is why I ordered it. Still, I was excited that you chose to recreate it and so I couldn’t wait to try it. The pastry was delicious, it was the lemon filling that was not what I hoped for. Nonetheless, your baked goods products that I have tried have all been delicious. I’m a big fan!

I wasn’t a big fan of the pie and I love lemons. Just a little different. Took a little Time to actually be shipped but once it finally was I received it the next day. Well packaged and secured.
