New York Times blogger Julia Moskin writes that our Scuffins have "a stout, sconelike dough formed in a muffin shape and a shot of fruit preserves in the center." This hybrid sensation has a dense, crumbly texture with a generous dollop of our rich, fruity conserves at the center. Our Scuffins come in 3 different flavors (apricot, nectarine, or peach). You will receive 2-3 flavors based on seasonality.

These delicious Scuffins come either ready-to-eat or frozen. Baked: For the best eating experience, we recommend you re-heat them immediately for 5-10 minutes at 350°. Re-heating times may vary for different appliances. But if you decide to save them for later, we recommend refrigerating immediately. Scuffins will be good up to a week in the refrigerator. Frozen: Keep frozen until baking. Place Scuffins individually into a greased muffin tray. Brush the tops with cream, milk, or egg-wash. At 400°, bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow at least 15 minutes to cool before plating. Fillings may leak during baking.

The Perfect Gift

I sent a basket of Frog Hollow fruit and goodies to say thank you to a special family. They loved every finger licking morsel, and although I didn’t get to taste, I can assure you from their delighted reaction that I will see you again.

Substantial, special and delicious‼️

Scuffins are a very special treat I give to my hubby for his morning coffee, knowing the filling is delicious fresh fruit and the surrounding is healthy and hearty. Warm, add a bit o’ butter, and hhmmmm❣️

I liked them because of their whole grain texture and the surprise fruit in the middle. Warm them up just a tad in the microwave and taste just like fresh baked yummy!!!!
