Are you as picky about your peaches as we are? Then get ready for eight shipments of the pick of our peach crop as we comb our orchards for the freshest tree-ripened fruit Frog Hollow has to offer. From the early-ripening Gold Dust and juicy, 'eat-over-the-sink' heritage Suncrests, to our robust, flavorful O'Henry—Farmer Al's favorite to toss on the grill!—to our signature Californian-born Cal Red, you'll be in perfect peachy heaven all summer long.
Because we pick the best peaches available at the time of shipment, the variety included in your box depends on seasonality. This program highlights certain varieties, but substitutions may be made if quality demands it. Shipments may be delayed based on availability. We're sticklers for quality and guarantee the freshest organically-grown, tree-ripened fruit nature has to offer.
Type: Fresh Fruit
We ship our fresh fruit and other perishable foods next-day and second-day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays with a next day option on Thursdays. This way, your order will arrive by week's end and won't sit in a warehouse over the weekend. If you order on a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, please allow for additional shipping time. Your patience will be rewarded with the freshest products! We also offset the climate impact with carbon-neutral shipping which supports projects that offset the emissions of the shipment's transport. We only got through part of the box. Within two days the rest had rotted and had to be thrown away. A bit disappointing. The ones that were good were delicious.
The two shipments that I received have been delicious. I would advise eating quickly or freezing some. They do start to bruise and go bad after a few days. Refrigerating would work as well, but I had read that it takes away from the flavor.
I got peaches last year (not club shipments) and the peaches get better all summer long.
