Our Goldensweet apricot is among our best-selling varieties. It's smaller in size compared to the early season Robada, but it makes up for whatever it lacks in size with its rich flavor. Though we may bake pastries featuring other varieties, the Goldensweet is our variety of choice for our best-selling apricot conserve. Another California born and bred variety, it has a brilliant golden orange skin with a soft blush. Golden sweets typically harvest from late mid-June to early July.

Our regenerative organic practices not only produce great fruit, but they also provide important ecosystem and climate benefits. We build soil health by composting, planting cover crops, and not tilling. The soil contains thriving communities of beneficial microbes and fungi that fertilize our trees. And we are fighting climate change by building the carbon storage capacity of our soil. Our orchards store an average of 29 tons of carbon per acre – that’s the equivalent of taking 1,488 passenger vehicles off the road for one year!

When my first order of apricots arrived, I opened the box immediately and thought, "Wow!" I wanted to just start eating them, but resisted because I had visions of lovely apricot jam. And the jam turned out perfectly - like jars of sunshine! As a few weeks passed, I was so tempted that I ordered more. So glad I did! Thank you so much for the opportunity to have organic apricots available! Brought back memories and stirred up many pleasant emotions. I know I could have just bought some organic apricot jam, but there's something uplifting about making it yourself.
