Flavor Treat is the last pluot variety to ripen in our orchard. They are a new addition to our stone fruit family. They're similar in both taste and texture to the Flavor Fall Pluots: dark-skinned with a pale, meaty, yellow flesh. Their crisp texture makes them perfect for slicing over cereal in the morning, adding to fruit salads at lunch, and serving with appetizers in the evening.

These pluots are excellent! Even this late in the season, they pluots are very flavorable, firm and so, so delicious! I am a big fan of Frog Hollow Farm!!

Good flavor

It was my first time trying the Flavor Treat variety. I love FHF plums/pluots - I order Santa Rosa, Flavor King and Emerald Beauts every year. But I’ll be honest and say the Flavor Treats are not on the level of the other three. The flavor is good, but they have a firm, almost dry texture even after ripening on the counter until the point of wrinkly skin. If sliced very thin they are tasty in salads because they are crisp, but I prefer a juicier plum/pluot.
