The Kettleman is a rich, golden red apricot with a beautiful aroma and a bit of tartness that apricot fans love. Smooth-textured and mildly sweet, Kettlemans are named after the California town near where the variety was bred and tested. They are available early-to-mid May.

    Our regenerative organic practices not only produce great fruit, but they also provide important ecosystem and climate benefits. We build soil health by composting, planting cover crops, and not tilling. The soil contains thriving communities of beneficial microbes and fungi that fertilize our trees. And we are fighting climate change by building the carbon storage capacity of our soil. Our orchards store an average of 29 tons of carbon per acre – that’s the equivalent of taking 1,488 passenger vehicles off the road for one year!

    "I have always loved apricots but am always disappointed in what I find in stores and now I can enjoy fresh apricots again thanks to Frog Hollow Farm. My husband has never been a fan of apricots but these have made him a HUGE fan. Truly delicious and well worth the cost of the product and shipping costs. Do yourself a favor and don't miss these when they come into season again next year!!!"

    Reliably fabulous

    These apricots are super delicious. They were picked at the right time and finished ripening on the counter for a day or two. I have ordered them several times already.

    Not my favorite

    My sister gives me the "apricot club" as a Christmas gift every year as my favorite fruit is apricots. I just received the second of 4 shipments and they were the "Kettleman" variety. They were smaller and not as sweet as the first batch which were "Apaches". I wouldn't choose these again, but would try to stick with the Apaches. The Apaches were absolutely the BEST apricots ever.
    On a separate note, Frog Hollow Farm is an excellent source for organic stone fruits (we've also had the peaches which were delicious!) as well as everything else they sell and although we are on opposite coastlines, the apricots come 2 days after harvest and are packed perfectly, so I will continue to recommend them highly!

    BEST apricots!!

    My husband and I cannot wait for next years apricot season and we wish that we would have ordered a lot more this year!
