With a fantastic chewy texture and bursting with complex sweetness, Frog Hollow’s dried pluots are great for snacking but were also a hit at our Ferry Building Cafe in a Portobello mushroom sandwich. The dried pluot medallions range from golden brown to deep mahogany and have a delicious, sparking tartness to complement the rich sweetness. Process

The longer that fruit hangs on the tree, the more nutrients and flavor it will develop. The only problem is, you can't wait too long to harvest because the fruit will fall! Not the Dapple Dandy pluot. It's one of the rare fruits that can hang on the tree almost ad infinitum. So we let them sweeten up longer than any of our other varieties. Then, we dry them to really bring out that sparkling, rich flavor. With our dried fruit, you’ll see only two ingredients ever listed: organically grown fruit and sunshine. We’ve been doing it that way for almost 25 years.
