This cake is a great vehicle for showing off our delicious olive oil and it's versatility within sweet and savory. Don't let it's plain appearance fool you; it has a delicate, fine crumb with a hint of citrus. It is drizzled with Frog Hollow Farm extra virgin olive oil, while still warm bringing out the oils fruity notes. Picture this cake at tea time with a cup of tea or a cappuccino for an afternoon pick me up, or dress up for dessert with a citrus compote of blood oranges, kumquats and whipped cream.
This product is perishable and ships chilled. Thaw fully to room temperature before serving. The cake serves 8-12.
Chef Becky makes her Olive Oil Cake in small batches weekly so they're always fresh. Shipments may be delayed until the following week based on availability. If you have any requirements for arrival dates, please let us know.
