Taylor’s Gold was first discovered by Michael King-Turner in his Riwaka orchard near Nelson, New Zealand, in 1986. This pear is relished for its extra-good flavor, and has a rich, delicately perfumed flavor that is exceptionally juicy. Taylor’s Gold pears are good for fresh eating as well as baking, canning and freezing.
