We will ship your product at its peak of ripeness, which, of course, is impossible to predict for a wide variety of reasons, including weather conditions and variations. Typical harvest is May 27th through September 30th, though certain pear varieties may be available through the end of the year.
For delivery in California, feel free to choose any of our UPS shipping options.
For delivery outside California, we require at minimum UPS 2 Day Air and strongly suggest Next Day Air for all fresh fruit purchases. For Fruit Conserves and Chutneys feel free to choose any of our UPS shipping options.
We will process and ship orders within 7 business days, depending on fruit ripeness and varieties requested, and excluding pre-orders. We reserve the right to hold shipments depending on weather conditions and fruit ripeness. Our commitment is to send you the freshest, ripest fruit available. In an effort to fulfill this commitment there may be delays in your order.
We reserve the right to hold orders due to weather conditions both at the point of origin as well as end of origin to preserve the quality of our product.
Items will not be shipped C.O.D.
Gift Certificates
We will do our best to contact gift certificate recipients but, we are not responsible for unredeemed gift certificates after the fruit season. Gift certificate recipients are responsible for redeeming their certificate and arranging shipping.
Pastries
Our pastries are shipped Next Day Air Saver only. They are shipped with dry ice in the box. They cannot be shipped with fresh fruit or fruit conserves. They will be packaged in their own box and shipped separately. Pastry orders will be shipped within 5 business days. We will do our best to fulfill your order as promptly as possible before 5 business days.
Important notice: We use three different packing methods to preserve freshness, and require separate boxes for orders of Fruit, Fruit Conserves and Chutney, or Pastries. That is Pastries and Fruits must be shipped in separate boxes from the rest of the order to protect the quality of our products.

Shipping Destinations:
Frog Hollow Farm is only able to ship to physical addresses in the Continental United States and Hawaii ONLY. We are unable to ship outside the United States at this time due to customs regulations and agricultural holds. A Street address is required on all orders, as orders cannot be delivered to P.O Boxes.
We are not responsible for deliveries by UPS w/o signature or delivery attempts. Whether or not to leave a package is at the driver’s discretion and out of our control. At the time an order is placed, please make sure an email address is provided with your information in order to be notified when packages(s) are shipped. You can then track the shipment via the UPS tracking number at www.UPS.com.
Shipping Origin:
Everything we ship comes from our Farm in Northern California. Shipping charges are configured using the UPS shipping calculator on the shopping cart (at the time of ordering), with Frog Hollow Farm in Brentwood, California, as the shipping point of origin.
The map below shows transit times for UPS Ground for all “in season” items.

We take pride in our customer service. We want to be sure you are completely satisfied with your order from Frog Hollow Farm. If you are not 100% satisfied with our products or service, just let us know and we will either promptly replace the product or gladly issue you a certificate to redeem on a future order.
